I think NASA should not send a student into space. If they did, how would they know how to work anything? Yes there is training but it takes years and i think that is to long for a kid to be working so hard. I also think that space might be to intense for a kid. They make the calculations for a safe flight for well built adults not kids. Who knows what effect space could have on a kid. Plus, it take millions of dollars to make a space suit. If they sent a kid into space they would have to make a brand new suit that could fit them, and they would grow out of it so you would have to keep making different suits as they grow. Every astronaut that has gone into space has gone to college, a kid wouldn't have the same knowledge as an adult. In conclusion I think kids should not be allowed to go into space.
If they decided to send students into space and they did choose me, i would bring 4 personal items with me. The first item I would bring with me is my phone, you have to stay connected! Another item i would bring is a scrapbook of my friends and family because i won't see them for a while and I could look back on old memories. The third item I would bring is a camera. I'm going into space, i'm guessing it's pretty cool looking so I want to have some pics. The last item I would bring is a Spongebob boxset of season 1. I love Spongebob that much. Those are the 4 things i would bring with me to space.
